What an incredible first day in South Africa.  We all can’t believe we are here.  It was a smooth 11 hour flight but we were glad to get here and feel the warm sun on our faces the minute we got off the plane.  We met up with a sub set of the 290 volunteers as groups are coming in across the next couple of days before we all head on site for the first time tomorrow afternoon.

So today was sightseeing and we were taken to see the penguins!!  Wow - I want one!  Do you think customs will mind?



We then went to Cape Point - fabulous views and a very friendly atmosphere with the building team!
